Geopathic [from the Greek: geo meaning ‘of the earth’, and pathos meaning ‘suffering’ or ‘disease’] literally means suffering or disease of the earth, so Geopathic stress is the general term for energies emanating from the earth that can cause discomfort and ill health in human beings. If exposure to Geopathic energies is short lived, then in general the effects are insignificant, although some people may show symptoms of tiredness, inattention and headaches when sitting in a geopathically stressed area for even one or two hours. Nowadays people may live in the same building for many years and their exposure to a particular form of negative energy could last a long time. Geopathic energy is an insidious phenomenon: we cannot see it or adequately explain it in current scientific terms, but the effects of it are likely to prove at least as devastating as environmental pollution.
There are different types of geopathic energies. While Biomagnetic Research Inc. resonators do not eliminate the natural Earth radiations, they do help transform and neutralize the energies so that they no longer pose a threat to the human energy field.
Curry lines are a global, grid network of electrically charged lines of natural origin. These lines run diagonally to the poles (NE-SW and SE-NW), and were first discovered by Dr. Manfred Curry and Dr. Wittmann. There is some disagreement between authorities as to how wide apart these lines are, but the consensus seems to be approximately 3 meters; although most experts recognize that this can vary.
The lines themselves are not seen as a problem, only the points where they cross, and obviously lines which run in this way will have numerous intersecting points. As the lines are electrically charged, the intersecting points are either double positives, double negatives or one of each. From his studies Dr. Curry felt that the positively charged spots lead to a proliferation of cells, with the possibility of cancerous cell growth, whereas the negatively charged spots could lead to inflammation. The frequency or resonance of the Curry grid system is not the same as the Hartmann Grid system. The Flat Spiral Dielectric Resonator® is designed to harmonize the disruptive energy and polarity of Curry grid line intersections (with flowing underground water if present), but NOT Hartmann line and water vein intersection resonance.
The Hartmann net also consists of naturally occurring charged lines, running N-S and E-W. It is named after Dr. Ernst Hartmann who first described it. Alternate lines are usually positively and negatively charged, so where the N-S and E-W lines cross it is possible to have double positive charges, double negative charges, or one positive and one negative charge. Once again it is the intersections that are seen as a source of potential problems. The energy emitted by intersections of Hartmann lines is specific and of a different frequency that those associated with the Curry Grid. A Hartmann Spiral® will balance Hartmann energy intersections (with flowing underground water if present), but NOT Curry Geopathic energies.
